People, Not Numbers.
Time is running out for Holocaust survivors to pass on their stories to younger generations. Every day on average 37 Holocaust survivors die of old age, and with them the memory of the Holocaust slowly fades away. It's the last chance for a new generation to hear their stories first hand.
Teenagers and students across Israel were given temporary tattoos with numbers. The same numbers that were tattooed on the arms of Holocaust survivors. Each number led directly to the survivor's personal heroic story, to make them accessible to a more digitally connected generation.
